Kathmandu: Talking to the anchor of the “antar-sambad” of the Radio Nepal today morning, NC Lawmaker also the member of Parliamentary Public Account Committee (PAC): Dhanaraj Gurung said that previous energy minister had quietly signed off the contract document at the prime minister’s Baluwatar residence on the day he quit office on constructing the 1,200 MW Budhigandki Hydropower project fpr awarding it to the Chinese Company blacklisted for not being able to complete the construction of 42.5 MW Sajen Hydropower Project and Chameliya Hydropower Project.
NC Lawmaker Gurung also said that even the opposition in the parliament did not care about such a large scale irregularity in contract award not speaking in the parliament; he said that he received the calls from the political leaders for instructing him not to talk about the corruption in the PAC but he responded to such calls stating the calls placed on the wrong person.
