Nepal Wins ICC World Cricket League Division Four 2012

September 11, 2012: Nepal wins the ICC World Cricket League Division Four 2012 defeating the US team by 8 wickets during the final game of the cricket tournament played at the Kinrara Academy Oval in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on September 10, 2012. Thus, Nepal emerged as the champions of the ICC World Cricket League Division Four 2012.

Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has appreciated the Nepalese team winning the ICC World Cricket League Division Four 2012, and thanked the team for their success today. The team returned to Kathmandu from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia after having the victory over the United States of America in the final game of the tournament of the ICC World Cricket League Division Four. “Sport is a platform to promote the national image and this time Nepal proved it,” ‘THT ONLINE’ quotes Prime Minister Dr. Bhattarai as saying. Saying that the win was the 'greatest glory' achieved by Nepali cricketers, the prime minister lauded players for their role in fanning out the reputation of country in the international arena, writes ‘THT ONLINE’.
