India Visit Of Chairman Of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda

April 28, 2013: Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda with his spouse and Chief of Department of Organization Krishna Bahadur Mahara, and assistant Shiva Khakurel left Kathmandu yesterday for New Delhi, India. At the international airport in Kathmandu, Chairman Prachanda said, “I am going to India as the representative of the nation even though I am the party chairman. During the visit, I will propose the economic development as I did in China,” according to the ‘gorkhapatra’ news of today.
Upon arrival at the Delhi international airport, the joint secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received Chairman Prachanda. Then the foreign secretary of India went to see Chairman Prachanda at the Hotel Oberio, and set the detailed plan of his visit.
In the evening, Chairman Prachanda attended the dinner party hosted by the Chairman of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajnath Singh in honor of Chairman Prachanda. Speaking at the dinner party, Chairman Singh said that he was fully convinced of the Interim Election Council of Ministers will hold elections, and Nepalis will decide their destiny by the Nepalis themselves, ‘gorkhpatra’ of today writes quoting assistant Shiva Khakurel.
