Token Assistance To Tsunami-affected Japanese

March 15, 2011: the government of Nepalis is sending a 15-member rescue team consisted of 10 Nepal Army personnel, three from Nepal Police and two from Armed Police Force, spokesman for the government Ganga Lal Tuladhar has said yesterday according to ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today. This is a token assistance.

Nepalese Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal has visited the Japanese embassy in Kathmandu to express the sympathy of the Nepalese government for the Japanese people suffering from the natural disaster.

The tsunami has caused more damages than the earthquakes in Japan. Thousands of people have been missing and many more are unaccounted for. A boat with 100 people has been missing, too.

The nuclear plants have been devastated, too. Despite the persistent efforts of engineers to correct the damages done to the nuclear power plants, the nuclear plants have been posing threats. So, some other countries have been rethinking the safety of nuclear power plants.
