The Chinese authorities have been bracing for the possible unwanted events on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the crackdown on pro-democracy rally held at Tiananmen Square in Beijing on June 4, 1989. The Chinese authorities have blocked several Internet networks and held potential troublemakers in custody.
In 1989, the Chinese authorities have sent several armored vehicles and tanks to suppress the unarmed pro-democracy rally in Beijing. They crushed hundreds of thousands of unarmed demonstrators killing several thousands of demonstrators and injuring several thousands more. It is almost like genocide.
