By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

On November 23, 2009, the Maoist legislators let the business of the legislature run smoothly. Speaking at the legislature, legislators have been sticking to their stand on the unconstitutional move of the President on directly writing a letter to the army chief. Maoist legislators’ stand on it has been that the President has abused the Interim Constituent of Nepal of 2007 whereas the NC and CPN-UML legislators have continued to trumpet it as the constitutional and for saving democracy.

The Speaker of the legislature has set the Tuesday, November 24, 2009 for debating the Appropriation Bill and then passing the Bill. Maoist legislators have decided to boycott the debate over the Appropriation Bill.
