By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

On July 30, 2008, Bosnian Serb leader charged with war crimes, Radovan Karadzic was flown to The Hague for trail. He had been on the run for 13 years. He successfully disguised and lived in Belgrade. He grew long beard, wore over-sized glasses and worked as an alternative therapist. He was arrested on July 21 in Belgrade.

Mr. Karadzic was charged with administering a siege of the city of Sarajevo, systematically killing or driving out tens of thousands of non-Serbs from Serbian towns and villages, setting up concentration camps and killing nearly 8,000 unarmed men and boys captured at the United Nations-protected Srebrenica in the early 1990s.

Mr. Karadzic is expected to go on trial in a few days.
