U S Ambassador to Nepal Scott H DeLisi Meets Prime Minister

Issue 17, April 25, 2010

By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

April 20, 2010: United States Ambassador to Nepal Scott H DeLisi has met with Prime Minister Madhav Nepal at the Prime Minister’s residence on April 19, 2010. During the meeting Prime Minister Madhav Nepal has complained about the Maoists not cooperating with him on various political matters including the peace process according to the political advisor to the Prime Minister. Ambassador DeLisi in turn has assured the Prime Minister of the continuity of the American assistance to Nepal.

Complaining about the no-cooperation of the Maoists on his job to the US diplomat, Prime Minister Madhav Nepal has shown his incompetence again, and has proved himself that he is not fit for staying on in the position of Prime Minister. If he cannot get the cooperation of the opposition he needs to quit the job immediately if he is ethically a strong person. Complaining about somebody to the diplomat as a child to the parents has shamed the country.
