Elections To Be Held At Any cost

July 29, 2013: Speaking at an event held by his party at the office of Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) yesterday to collect feedback of the business community for including in the party manifesto, President of NC Sushil Koirala said that the second Constituent Assembly elections would not be postponed under any circumstances, and those obstructing the elections would be boycotted by the society, according to RSS news posted on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com.’

 

"Nation wants peace", he said, “so, there was no alternative to holding the elections for peace in the country.” President Koirala also said that talks with the political parties opposing the elections were being held. Koirala repeated that no alternative to elections for the political stability and peace in the country.

 

President of FNCCI Suraj Baidhya said that the Federation was ready to introduce the self-employment program for youths following the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) concept.
