Making Chief Justice Prime Minister NC Agenda
By KTM Metro Reporter
February 21, 2013: speaking at the Seventh National Convention of Nepal Teachers’ Association in Kathmandu yesterday, NC President Sushil Koirala has said that the country is moving forward following the agenda of his party NC. He has said that making the serving chief justice a new prime minister is the agenda of NC. Therefore, holding elections to a new CA for moving the country ahead is the agenda of the NC not of the UCPN-Maoist, according to ‘gorkhapatra’ news of today.
NC President Sushil Koirala also has said that his party would not compromise on anything going against the democratic norms and values. He did not elaborate on it. Whether it means agreeing on forming a new government headed by the serving Chief Justice going against the opinions of 80% of the members of the Central Working Committee of his party, or claiming for the credit the UCPN-Maoist’s proposal for forming a new government under the Chief Justice.
Currently, some of the Nepalese political leaders have lost control of common sense, and have started off talking one thing today and another tomorrow making it very difficulty for the common folks to understand what really the leaders have on the back of their minds.
