Indian Youth MP Delegation Calls On Nepalese Dignitaries

March 28, 2011: Indian ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood took six-youth-member Indian parliamentary team comprising Kailash Narayan Singh of Biju Janata Dal, O. T Lepcha of Sikkim Democratic Front, Pradeep Majhi of Indian National Congress, Kamlesh Paswan and Sanjay Jaiswal of Baratiya Janata Party (BJP), and Niraj Shekher of Samajbadi Party on March 27 to Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda for talking about the matters of bilateral interests.
The team also has made a visit to Prime Minister Jahlanath Khanal. After the meeting talking to reporters, BJP leader Paswan has said that the team has discussed with the Nepalese prime minister matters concerning the ongoing peace process, and constitution-making in Nepal and bilateral relations.
The Indian parliamentary team has met with President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, Chairman of Constituent Assembly Subash Nemwang, and Chairman of Constitutional Committee Nilambar Acharya separately, and has had talked about the peace process and the constitution writing in Nepal.
