Brother Worship In Nepal

November 15, 2012: Nepalese sisters have performed brother worshipped today. Sisters or brothers go to another home to perform brother worship.
Performing brother worship, sisters wish brothers long lives, prosperous lives and to be healthy and ever green. Following the tradition, each community performs worship differently but the basic objective remains.
Some tourists also got brother worship today. Nepalese political celebrities also have received brother worship from their sisters. The brother worship does not see any caste barrier. So, sisters perform brother worship to anybody that wishes to be brothers.
Men and women not having sisters or brothers go to the temple to Yamlesvor at the middle of the pond called Ranipokhari in Kathmandu to receive blessing from the lord today.
