Making Offerings To Goddess Of Wealth

October 26, 2011: Hindu and Buddhist Nepalis have made offerings to the living goddess of wealth: sacred cow today morning. They have decorated cow with vermillion, then offered flowers and good foods to cow elsewhere in Nepal. In Kathmandu, we don’t have many cows but some of them we have sometimes violate the traffic rules due to the carelessness of the owners of the living goddess of wealth.
In the evening, Nepalis welcome the invisible goddess of wealth drawing a wide red line from the entrance to the house to the prayer room where they will revere the goddess of wealth. In order to make sure that the goddess follows the correct path, Nepalis illuminate the path and even the whole build on this night.
