Kathmandu: Speaking at a program to mark the 13th anniversary of Gantabya Nepal: a weekly tourism paper, Home Minister Janardan Sharma said that he had made an appropriate provision of security for keeping Thamel and Lakeside opened for 24 hours a day for tourist to enjoy.
Those two sites are the hub of tourists where tourists could buy and sale any goods and services they required, and enjoy the meals of any nations they think of. Keeping open these two sites means attracting more visitors that would surely boost the local economy, which in turn contributes to the national economy.
Sharma in his previous incarnation as a minister for energy had set the record of breaking up the network of power thieves, and retrieved the power lost to a few industries that had most probably made a huge payoff to those State bureaucrats and minister, and then Sharma made possible to supply the power to common folks that had faced power outage for more than 14 hours a day. Now, Minister Sharma might be setting another record of keeping Thamel and Lakeside opened forever.
