CPN-Maoist Cadres Burning Top Leaders In Effigies Arrested

October 4, 2013: Police have arrested 15 CPN-Maoist cadres in Narayangadh of the Chitwan district while they were burning the top leaders of the four major political parties in effigies protesting against the registration of candidacies for the forthcoming CA elections, according to the RSS news posted on the gorkhapatraonline.com’.

 

The spokesperson for the Chitwan District Police Office Sanjaya Raut said that 15 CPN-Maoist cadres including Bhumeshwor Kandel: the central advisor to the CPN-Maoist, have been rounded up. The cadres had protested and burnt the top leaders of the four major political parties in the effigies while leaders of political parties were preparing to file their nominations at the District Election Office, said police.
