Bringing Rato Matsyendranath From Bungamati To Patan

December 8, 2013: devotees are bringing Rato Matsyendranath from Bungamati To Patan today. To this end, the physical body called ‘kalevar’ of the deity was changed on Thursday, December 5, 2013, according to the news in the ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.

 

Immediately after the completion of Bhoto Jatra held at Javalakhel six months ago, Rato Matsyendranath was taken to the deity’s summer temple in Bungamati.

 

The deity spends six months in Bungamati and six months in Patan. During the absence of the deity, the temple remains closed at both the places for six months.

 

Devotees have well prepared for welcoming the deity at Taa Bahal in Patan today. The deity will spend six months at the Taa Bhahal temple in Patan.
