New Areas of Tourism Development In Nepal

Mountain bike tourism is the possibility in Nepal says South Korean expert on Mountain Bike championship. They spent millions of dollars on making a track for holding such a mountain bike championship in other countries whereas in Nepal favored by the natural landscape they spent only a few thousand dollars to build such a marvelous mountain bike track and hold a championship says the expert.
Nepal held a two-day event of the mountain bike championship on Saturday, November 8 and Sunday November 9, 2008. Prime Minister Prachanda opened the 14th Asian Mountain-bike Championship on Thursday, November 6, 2008. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Prachanda said, "This is an honor for us to organize an Asian Motor Bike championship in Nepal." Sixty-six players from 13 countries took part in the event.
Another area of tourism development in Nepal might be taking local and international visitors to unique ‘waterfalls’ in the Okhaldhunga district. These waterfalls are unique in the sense that they are located in the beautiful mountains; these waterfalls add the beauty of the mountains. Any nature-lover would surely visit this area.
On Thursday, November 6, 2008, Prime Minister Prachanda opened the 'Waterfall festival' held for attracting tourists in the Okhaldhunga district.
