Nepalese President Requests Help Of Sri Lankan President

November 26, 2010: according to the statement made in the Sri Lankan parliament by Sri Lankan External Affairs Minister G L Peiris, Nepalese President Ram Baran Yadav has requested his Sri Lankan counterpart Mahinda Rajapksa to mediate and resolve the political crisis in Nepal, referring to the Nepalese President’s request, Minister Peiris has asserted that President Rajapaksa has now being accepted not only as the leader of Sri Lanka but as a regional leader, too, News.in.msn.com has reported on November 25, 2010. President Rajapksa has visited Male in July to mediate between the Maldivian president and the opposition-controlled parliament to end the political crisis there.
