One Of Founding Fathers Of Communist Party Of Nepal Passed Away

July 24, 2013: one of the founding fathers of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Nar Bahadur Karmacharya passed away at the Model Hospital, Kathmandu at 5 am today. He was 89. He has been suffering from jaundice and repeated bouts of high-fever for quite some time, according to the nepalnews.com.
The body has been kept at the headquarters of UCPN-Maoist in Paris Danda and will be taken to the Khulla-manch this afternoon for anybody to pay last tributes to him; the body would be cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat this evening THT ONLINE quoted the Maoist sources.
Despite his old age, Karmacharya never fully retired from politics and had been serving as the advisor to UCPN-Maoist party until he suffered from another bout of illness, writes nepalnews.com
UCPN-Maoist top leaders such as Prachanda, Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Narayan Kaji Shrestha along with other leaders visited the hospital and offered their condolence to the family of Karmacharya, and they also expressed a sorrow due to the departure of their comrade.
