Officiating Home Minister Denies Promoting His Men
By KTM Metro Reporter
January 6, 2011: officiating Home Minister Bhim Rawal has denied that he has promoted and transferred the near and dear ones to the Nepali Police personnel and areas they want trying to diffuse the media report on the irregularity in the promotion and transfer of Nepali Police personnel, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of January 6, 2011 writes.
Such denial of wrong doings by ministers has been a regular practice in Nepal but the reality is that ministers don’t care about the relatives, near and dear ones but do care about anybody willing to pay certain price for promotion and transfer.
Mr. Rawal has increased the Nepali Police force by 16, 000 not for the security of Nepalis but for making money from the purchase of uniform and logistics for the new army of police added to the regular police force.
Mr. Rawal and his boss Madhav Nepal have made sufficient money for running the CPN-UML at least for another 10 years. It is no wonder why the Nepalis are so poor when the legislators elect the man rejected by voters; such man steals the money from the pockets of the Nepalese people and their tax money from the state treasury.
