Defeated Madhav Nepal Instructs Elected Parliamentarians
By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu
In the meeting with Prime Minister Madhav Nepal and his Finance Minister, the parliamentarians belonging to the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist and Leninist (CPN-UML) have complained that the Prime Minister could not work impartially in appointing ambassadors, properly in the Vice-president taking oath in Hindi and the arm deal with India while Finance Minister has allocated billions of rupees to junk projects whereas the really people-benefiting projects have been neglected and got nothing, as the Finance Minister has favored only them who have approached him for the budget allocation; then the Prime Minister has instructed the elected parliamentarians to go to their respective constituencies and win the hearts of the people rather than staying in the capital and criticizing the government according to the news aired by the state-run Radio Nepal on July 30, 2009.
The irony is that Prime Minister Madhav Nepal defeated in two constituencies has advised the elected parliamentarians to go to their constituencies and win the hearts of the people. Madhav Nepal could not win the hearts of the people so he lost the election in one of the constituencies in Kathmandu and in another constituency in his home district Rautahut. So, Madhav Nepaljee: you need to quit the job of Prime Minister in favor of Jhalanath Khanal who have won two elections: one for the seat of the parliament and another for the Chair of the CPN-UML, and then go to your own home district to win the hearts of the people for the next elections.
