President Meeting With Political Leaders

March 28, 2011: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav known for occasionally violating the Interim Constitution of Nepal of 2007 has been meeting with the political leaders without the knowledge of Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal. In fact Jhalanath Khanal had led a team of other political leaders to the president on May 04, 2009 to urge the president to perpetuate the violation of the Interim Constitution of Nepal of 2007 and write a letter the then CoAS and save his job for preventing the then government of Prachanda from grabbing the power thus forcing the president to violate the constitution. At that time, Mr. Khanal had done so obviously for making him a prime minister but NC leaders had made the two-constituency defeated Madhav Nepal a new prime minister bypassing Khanal. Now, Jhalanath Khanal can complain the president for not informing him about the meetings the president has been holding with other political leaders but Mr. Khanal himself is accountable for it.
