Election Manifestos Of Political Parties

October 16, 2013: political parties have been busy with finalizing their election manifestoes. The NC says that it will finalize its election manifesto after the Dasain festival. Its rivals such as UCPN-Maoist and CPN-UML say that they have completed their manifestoes.
The UCPN-Maoist says that it proposes the governance system of directly electing the president and the legislature electing a prime minister. It wants the power shared by the president with the prime minister.
The CPN-UML says that it wants to elect prime minister directly and make the prime minister powerful rather than the president. The CPN-UML believes that the directly elected president might turn into a dictator.
We need to wait until the end of the Dasain festival what the NC says.
