April 26, 2013: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav flew back to Kathmandu on the army helicopter yesterday after spending four days in his home village. President Yadav had apparently gone to his home village to take a rest but he had casual meetings with his childhood playmates, and had received numerous curious people to see him as the president, according to ’gorkhapatra’ news of today.
Many people also had come to the president with many complaints but the president could not do anything to resolve their problems. The president simply assured them of disappearing all their problems after the promulgation of a new constitution.
President Yadav also urged all political parties, civil society members, reporters, students, and concerned agencies to institutionalize the republic being fully accountable to the people and the country.
President Yadav also visited the famous Janaki Mandhir in Janakpur. The president made offerings to Lord Rama and his spouse Sita, and their perpetual companion Hanuman.
