Demanding A NC Central Committee Meeting

Issue 09, March 3, 2013

By KTM Metro Reporter

February 26, 2013: at a meeting held at the residence of NC Leader Sujata Koirala in Kathmandu on Sunday, February 24, 2013, the young-generation members of the central committee of the NC have demanded to call a central committee meeting to discuss whether a new government under the Chief Justice was to form or not to form, according to the ‘gorkhapatra’ news of today.

The young-generation members of the central committee have said that the NC President Sushil Koirala, Senior NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Vice-president of NC Ram Chandra Poudel had no rights to agree on forming a new government under the serving Chief Justice. They also have charged the three NC leaders with going against the Interim Constitution of Nepal agreeing on a government led by the serving Chief Justice.

Earlier, youth leader Gagan Thapa had demanded to call a meeting of the ‘mahasamiti’ of the NC to discuss the formation of a new government under the Chief Justice and then decided whether to form or not to form such a government.
