Twenty-one-Member Chinese Delegation In Nepal

September 11, 2010: twenty-one-member Chinese delegation headed by Vice-premier and secretary to the Secretariat of Central Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC) He Yong has arrived in Nepal today afternoon.
Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda, and three Vice-chairmen such as Mohan Vaidhya, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, and Narayankaji Shrestha, Chief of Foreign Department of UCPN-Maoist Krishna Bahadur Mahara and Steering Committee member Dev Gurung have met the Chinese delegation at the Hotel Soaltee in Kathmandu today.
Then, Acting President of NC Sushil Koirala and Vice-president Prakash Man Singh have met with the Chinese delegation at the Hotel Soaltee in Kathmandu.
According to the local news, they have discussed the current political deadlock in Nepal, the peace process and the bilateral cooperation. They have also discussed the concerns of the Chinese delegation such as one-China policy, and use of the Nepalese land for anti-Chinese activities.
Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara, NC leader Prakash Man Singh and CPN-UML leader K.P Oli were at the International Airport in Kathmandu to receive the Chinese delegation according to Nepalnews.com.
The delegation will meet with Officiating Prime Minister Madhav Nepal, President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and CPN-UML leaders. Members of the delegation will visit Lumbini and Pokhara.
