By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

On July 11, 2009, from 8:00 morning, the legislature-parliament is set to discuss the polices and programs of the government for the fiscal year 2009 (2066) presented by the President to the parliament on July 9, 2009; however, the members of the parliament belonging to the Madheshi People’s Rights Forum (MPRF) headed by Upendra Yadav have blocked the parliament from running any business demanding the parliamentary office belonging to the MPRF captured by the splinter group of the same party headed by Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Gacchedar return to the rightful owner.

After a long discussion among the political leaders of the MPRF and the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist and Leninist (CPN-UML), they have agreed on letting the MPRF of Upendra Yadav to use the parliamentary office. Thereafter, the parliamentary secretariat has decided to discuss the policies and programs of the government for the fiscal year 2009 (2066) on Sunday morning July 12, 2009.

On Sunday morning July 12, 2009, speaking to the parliamentarians Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said that the current government headed by Prime Minister Madhav Nepal has released Rs 600 million just ten days before the end of the current fiscal year 2008 (2065), as a Finance Minister he has collected the large amount of revenue with great efforts but currently the government has been squandering the revenue indiscriminately; his party does not see the policies and programs put forward by the unconstitutional government appropriate to discuss in the parliament, so, the members of parliament belonging to the United Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (CPN-Maoist) boycott the parliamentary session.
