Former Crown Prince Paras In Singapore

On July 01, 2008, former crown prince Paras flew to Singapore by ‘Silk Air’ as a regular citizen holding an ordinary passport according to the local press. Reportedly, he has gone to Singapore to ascertain an appropriate school over there for his two daughters and a son.
Since Nepal became a federal democratic republic on May 28, 2008, Paras has not sent his children to school for fear of security, as the Government of Nepal has replaced army security with the police security for the former royals.
