By KTM Metro Reporter

August 23, 2012: accepting a memorandum from the members of the Reporters’ Club at his residence in Bhaktapur, the aging Chairman of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party Narayanman Bijukchhe said that the Head of State needed to take over the power in his hands and run the administration rather than running it through ordinances. Chairman Bijukchhe loved dictatorship, so he wanted the Head of State to be a dictatorial.

One of the members of the CWC of NC Arjun Narshing KC said that the best way to settle all the contentious issues was to hold a referendum on these issues, as the revival of CA would not resolve any of those issues, and the election to a CA was not constitutional.

President of NC Sushil Koirala said that unity and cooperation among the political parties needed to resolve the current constitutional crisis but he was not able to go along with his rival and senior NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba. Mr. Koirala also said that his party was not against federalism but he was the one that refused to accept the federalism according to his opponents.
