Chinese Photo Exhibition In Nepali

October 1, 2010: on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the People's Republic of China and the 55th anniversary of the establishment of China-Nepal diplomatic relationship, the Chinese Embassy in Nepal in cooperation with the World Cultural Net has held a three-day photo exhibition titled "Experience Shanghai and Embrace the World" in Kathmandu: the capital of Nepal today, News.xinhuanet.com reports. All together 65 pictures of Shanghai Expo giving vivid descriptions of the Shanghai World Expo of 2010 are in the show.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Qui Guohong and Nepalese Minister of State for Education Govinda Chaudhary have jointly officially opened the exhibition at the Nepal Art Council hall in Kathmandu.

Speaking at the opening function, the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal has congratulated all Chinese living and working in Nepal on the occasion of the 61st anniversary and also to the Nepalis as this year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of China-Nepal diplomatic relationship, and has hoped that the Nepalese people can see the major events and the people at the Shanghai World Expo of 2010, and the changes and development in China through the exhibition.

Speaking at the same function, Minister of State for Education Chaudhary has lauded the Nepal-China relationship and appreciated the exhibition that enables Nepalese people to understand the Chinese culture and the economic development.
