FDRA To Work For Environment Conducive To Polls

July 31, 2013: at the meeting of the members of the alliance held at the UCPN-Maoist’s headquarters in Parisdanda yesterday, the Federal Democratic Republican Alliance (FDRA) led by the UCPN-Maoist decided to jointly work on creating an environment conducive to holding elections to the Constituent Assembly scheduled for November 19, and also decided to enlarge the alliance in view of the polls, according to the news on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com.’

 

Spokesman for FDRA Prem Bahadur Singh said that chairman of UCPN-Maoist acting as the coordinator of FDRA Prachanda briefed the meeting on the recent political development, and he stressed the need for extending the FDRA organizational structure to the district level.

 

At the meeting, they have discussed a common election manifesto, and common candidates. They also agreed on making the federalism with identity, constitution with federalism, and a constitution from the constituent assembly as the common agenda, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
