Prime Minister to attend BIMSTEC conference in New Delhi

On Wednesday, November 12, 2008, Prime Minister Prachanda is leaving Nepal for New Delhi, India to attend the second summit of BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi Sector Technical and Economic Cooperation) set up for regional economic cooperation. Its member states are Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.

Nepalese Prime Minister has agenda to address the summit on Thursday, November 13 and then return back home on November 14, 2008. He would meet with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday, November 12, 2008.
