Prime Minister in Bangalore

On September 17, 2008, Prime Minister Prachanda flew to Bangalore to see the success of Information Technology (IT) there. Addressing a luncheon meeting hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Prime Minister Prachanda highly appreciated the business and industry community for the success in getting a special recognition for the city in the global IT map; and said that he wanted to bring similar IT revolution in Nepal. So, he anticipated the cooperation with the business community on developing IT in Nepal, and told the members of the business community that the Government of Nepal is creating an environment conducive to business and industry to flourish in Nepal.

Prime Minister Prachnada flew back to Kathmandu on September 18, 2008. On arrival at the Kathmandu airport, Prime Minister Prachanda told the reporters that his India-visit success was more than anticipated.
