Nepal Team Cheers Up With Equalizing Goal

July 29, 2011: in the return leg of their World Cup qualifier match between Nepal and Jordan held at the Dashrath Rangsala Stadium yesterday, Nepal held Jordan at a 1-1 draw after the humiliating defeat in the match held in Amman, Jordan last week. Jordan team had scored nine goals in the game held in Amman against no goal of the Nepal team.

The equalizer goal has come from the substitute veteran striker Bharat Khawas in the 80th minute much to the delight of spectators.

Despite of the yesterday’s draw, Jordan will move to the group stage of the World Cup qualifiers, thanks to the 9-0 win in Amman. Consequently, Jordan still wins with the 10-1 aggregate over Nepal.
