Counter Case Filed At Supreme Court Of Nepal

December 31, 2010: suspended from the office of the Executive Chairman Sugat Ratna Kansakar and his five colleagues also suspended from their respective office have filed a joint lawsuit at the Supreme Court of Nepal on Friday, December 30, 2010 stating the Commission on Investigation into Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has no right to take legal actions against them, myrepublica.com writes.
They have also pleaded the Supreme court of Nepal to declare the lawsuit filed by the Secretary to the CIAA at the Special Court charging them with the abuse of authority of paying advance of Rs 57 millions to a French Airbus company for buying aircrafts stating the authority is vested in the Commissioner of the CIAA not in the Secretary.
