Different Comments on Chinese Prime Minister’s Visit To Nepal

January 21, 2012: speaking at the Chinese Spring Festival of 2012 held to celebrate the Chinese New Year in Kathmandu yesterday, Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said that the recent visit of Chinese Premier Wen Jianbao has contributed to take the bilateral relations between Nepal and China to a new height at the same time widening it; the prime minister also has extended his greetings to the government of China and Chinese people living all over the world, and watched the cultural show presented on the occasion ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.

Speaking at the same event, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yang Houlan has said that Wen’s visit to Nepal has been successful, and Prime Minister Wen has been happy with his recent visit to Nepal; the ambassador also has appreciated the hospitality accorded to Prime Minister Wen during his visit.

However, NC cadres particularly Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat has said that the snapshot visit of the Chinese Prime Minister is the failure of the foreign policy of the current government.
