By KTM Metro Reporter
January 13, 2013: the NC and CPN-UML leaders have proposed the UCPN-Maoist leaders either to accept Koirala as a new prime minister or to give the head of state authority to appoint a new prime minister, according to the ‘HIMALAYAN NEWS SERVICE’ news of yesterday.
The NC and CPN-UML power junkies should understand that accepting Koirala for a new prime minister or giving the authority to the head of state is the same, as the head of state happily will appoint Koirala as a new prime minister if he gets the authority to do so. So, these guys should avoid such childish politics to break the serious political deadlock.
At the Central Committee meeting of the party, Senior CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal proposed three alternatives such as a new prime minister from among the leaders of UCPN-Maoist, NC and the CPN-UML or an independent personality preferably from among the retired chief justices of the Supreme Court of Nepal or revival of the Constituent Assembly to break the current political stalemate, according to thehimalayantimes.com news of today.
Minister for Education Dinanath Sharma today said that the Constitution Assembly would be reinstated for six months if political parities were to fail in reaching a consensus by January 14, 2013. Minister Sharma said that his party has been trying to build the identity-based federalism and constitution with federalism, according to ‘HIMALAYAN NEWS SERVICE’ of today.
