Cash Offerings To Pashupati: Rs 140 Million In 15 Months

August 17, 2013: cash offerings made to Lord Pashupati at Gaushala in Kathmandu, and the fees paid for making special offerings to the lord have amounted to Rs 140 million for about 15 months starting in April 2012 and ending in July 2013, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.

 

Fees collected from the devotees for making special offerings to Lord Pashupati has amounted to Rs 47.72 million; and the balance amount is the cash offerings made by the devotees while visiting the lord at Gaushala.

 

Fees for making special offerings have ranged from Rs 1,000 to 100,000 per offering depending on the size of the offerings devotees want to make to Lord Pashupati.
