Change has come to Nepal, too
BY KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu
On Wednesday, November 12, 2008, starting at the time of the second visit of Nepalese Prime Minister Prachanda to India, the tradition of requiring for foreign envoys accredited to Nepal to go to the airport and attend the see-off ceremony at the time of state-visit of the Head of State and the Prime Minister has been done away with. The new arrangement has made only the ambassador of the country concerned would need to see off the dignitaries. So, this time, only the Indian Ambassador was seen at the airport to see off Prime Minister Prachanda on Wednesday, November 12, 2008.
Another change is this time Prime Minister Prachanda did not take his spouse and son with him to India.
