Nepal Not To Allow Any Activities Against China and India

Issue 43, October 25, 2009

By Kathmandu Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

On October 21, 2009, speaking at the one-day conference on ‘Nepal’s National Interest: Policies and Recommendations’ jointly held by the Centre for South Asian Studies and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Kathmandu, Prime Minister Madhav Nepal has said that Nepal would not allow anybody to hold any activities against China and India.

According to the UN charter, people anywhere in the world can put up a peaceful rally against any state, however, the current government of Madhav Nepal has not allowed the Tibetan exiles in Nepal even to reach the Chinese Embassy in Nepal not to mention to hold a peaceful protest rally against the Chinese rule in Tibet.
