Making Lhasa A World Class Tourist Destination

June 10, 2010: Lhasa Municipal Tourism Administration has been making Tibet a world-class tourist attraction working with neighboring countries such as Nepal, India, and Bhutan. Director of Lhasa Municipal Tourism Bureau Jiang Hua has said that Lhasa will cooperate with Nepal, India and Bhutan on building trans-Himalayan tourist destinations according to the news posted on Chinatibet.people.com.
They have been working on improving the international air route Lhasa-Katmandu, and on adding more flights between Lhasa and India, and Lhasa and Bhutan.
In addition, Lhasa has adopted the visa-on-arrival policy.
