Khanal A Great Hypocrite

Issue 02, January 09, 2011

By KTM Metro Reporter

January 3, 2011: speaking at the interaction held by B.P. Koirala Foundation on the occasion of 35th National Reconciliation Day in Kathmandu on Sunday, January 02, 2011, NC candidate for prime minister, Ram Chandra Poudel has complained that Chairman of CPN-UML Jhalanath Khanal has been a great hypocrite and has been playing a dirty political game in putting himself in the office of prime minister, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of toady writes.

Mr. Poudel has complained that on one hand Khanal has his party make decision on not making Prachanda a prime minister on the other hand not voting for him in the coming prime ministerial election; and Khanal projects himself as the symbol of consensus politics forcing himself to get elected a new prime minister; it cannot be anything more than hypocrisy.

Mr. Poudel has said that the NC and CPN-UML had responsibility to save the nation and democracy. However, these guys have forgotten every bits and pieces of democratic values and norms. If they have an iota of democratic norms and values, the country will not need to undergo such a painful political and economic crisis. These guys are ready to do anything possible to stay on in power even to grab a single rupees fallen on the human feces by their teeth.

If they want to prove what they have said they are they need to work on completing the peace process and then completing the writing of a new constitution and then go to the people for getting them back to the parliament and the government but they want to be in power without going to the people. This is the democracy they are for protecting in Nepal.
