Indian Politician Karan Singh In Nepal

November 30, 2012: Indian Politician Karan Singh also the chancellor of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) arrived Kathmandu on November 29, 2012, and today participated as a keynote speaker in the two-day seminar titled 'Malviya's Contribution to Modern Education-Banaras Hindu University and its impact in Nepal’ held in Kathmandu from November 30 to December 1, 2012 on the occasion of Madan Mohan Malviya's 150th birth anniversary.

Mr. Singh is to extend an invitation to President Dr Ram Baran Yadav to visit India and receive the honorary Doctorate of Letters degree to be conferred by the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) on December 25, 2012. Some political analysts believe that Mr. Singh must have a political agenda, too in Nepal. 

Mr. Karan Singh has a matrimonial relation with the Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Pashupati Shumsher JB Rana, as the daughter of Mr. Rana is married to the son of Mr. Singh. Mr. Rana held a reception in honor of Mr. Singh at the residence of Rana in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu today evening. Most of the top leaders of the major political parties attended the reception.
