Monarchy Gone from RPP Statute

On December 11, 2007, at the end of the fourth convention of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), it removed the constitutional monarchy from its statute. It comes as a crashing blow to the suspended-king whose tenure even as a suspended might soon come to an end. He has been able to remain in the palace by the strong support of some unscrupulous Nepali Congress leaders who want to hide their sin under the monarchy.
