Prime Minister Visits His Kathmandu Constituency

On April 17, 2009, Prime Minister Prachanda visited his Kathamndu-10 constituency for the first time after he got elected from it. He told the audience, “You might think every Prime Minster is the same but I am not, I will do something for the people.”
He told them that the Interim Constitution has made the Prime Minister powerful but in practice it is not so; his main task has been to keep everybody satisfied.
He went on telling the people that a handful of monarchists and some foreign elements have been attempting to derail the peace process but he would not allow them to do so; we together would fight against such elements.
