By KTM Metro Reporter

September 5, 2012: NC in its Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting held at the Sanepa headquarters today decided that formation of a consensus government was a must before going to for fresh election or reinstatement of the CA; so, NC decided to discuss all possible options to break the current political deadlock only after the issue of a consensus government is settled, according to nepalnews.com.

Speaking to reporters at Biratnagar airport, NC leader Sujata Koirala today said that the party should name Vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel as the candidate for a next prime minister. Poudel had run for Prime Minister 18 times in the past unsuccessfully. "President Koirala stick to his job of running party affairs," she said, and senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba did not deserve the post, as he had become prime minister numerous times, writes nepalnews.com.

President of NC Sushil Koirala rushed to the Lazimpat residence of Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda today to protest against the Prachanda’s statement that the current political deadlock is the result of the inability of the NC to name a candidate for prime minister, and to reject the proposal of Prachanda for reinstating the dissolved CA; NC President Koirala also made it clear to Chairman Prachanda that he would consider all possible options to resolve the current political problems only after NC forms a national consensus government, according to ‘THT ONLINE’.
