Human Rights Violence In Pakistan

December 6, 2012: the Pakistani military has demolished the temple built before India was divided for making room for the private building despite the court order not to do so, in another case, some unidentified terrorists tied up the watchman at the Ahmadi cemetery, and graves were desecrated; Ahmadis are treated as non-Muslims and minority; a six-year-old Hindu girl was raped and a 70 year old Christian missionary shot, according to the Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC).

In the recent days excavating the graves and breaking the headstones bearing the names of the dead persons desecrated more than 100 graves of Ahamadis. The same happened with a Hindu temple, which was destroyed along with the houses by the military authorities, allegedly after being bribed by a private builder who wanted to grab the land. In another case a six-year-old girl from the Hindu community was raped in a bid to push the Hindu community out of the country and take refuge in India. Also, a 70-year-old Swedish Christian missionary was shot at and is in critical condition. Some unknown persons also beat up her cook two days before the incident, according to the AHRC.
