President Dr. Yadav Urges Leaders To Build A Consensus

April 10, 2012: Nepalese President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav yesterday has urged the political parties to build a consensus on completing the peace process and the constitution writing to save the nation from political chaos, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.

President Dr. Yadav has said that completing the peace process and the constitution writing would help to save the nation from the possible political chaos and instability, so, all parties should unite to complete these two noble tasks; to this end, leaving their petty party interest aside, the major political forces along with small parties should build a consensus on the peace process, and contribute to build the nation and national security.

The president has specifically said that Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda, President of NC Sushil Koirala, Chairman of CPN-UML Jhalanath Khanal and Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gacchedhar should unite to promulgate a constitution within the May 27 deadline, as they have no other alternative to it.
