Giving Sermon to Gyanendra Shah

July 12, 2012: annoyed by the recent interview given by Gyanendra Shah to the News 24 TV, Leader of CPN-UML Madhav Nepal had been repeatedly giving sermons to the former king to join the political bandwagon if Mr. shah really wanted to make a comeback in the politics.

Speaking at a press meet held by the Press Chautari Dang chapter in Ghorahi today, Senior Leader of CPN-UML Madhav Nepal challenged former king Gyanendra Shah to form a new political party if he wanted to get involved in the politics otherwise live the religious life at the old age, as revival of monarchy was impossible, writes nepalnews.com.

Leader Madhav Nepal advised Mr. Shah not to go on stating any anti-republic statements rather to set up a political party and take part in politics if Mr. Shah could and wanted to engage in the politics otherwise live in peace enjoying the benefits provided by the government.

Madhav Nepal also made it clear that no agreement on the revival of the monarchy had reached between the then monarchy and the seven-party alliance, and challenged Mr. Shah to come up with such a document if he had, writes ‘The Himalayan Times’ of today.
