Angry With NC President Sushil Koirala For His Dictatorial Act

May 23, 2013: leaders and cadres of the NC have been very angry with President of NC Sushil Koirala for his setting up of 42 departments at his discretion rather than in consultations with the leaders and cadres; some of the leaders and cadres have demanded Koirala to immediately call the meeting of the central working committee of the NC to discuss the matter. But Koirala had no time to talk with the leaders and cadres assembled at his Maharajgung residence yesterday, as he had planned to travel to Ilam. He assured them of taking up the matter after his return from Ilam, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
The dissident leaders and cadres have said that Koirala has included cadres and leaders in departments not on their merits but on their sycophancy. So, most of the sycophants are in the departments rather than the sincere cadres that had fought in the people’s movement, and sacrificed for the party.
Cadres not only belonging to the Deuba group of the party but also of the cadres belonging to the Koirala group have been dissatisfied with Koirala for his setting up of the departments in which even the non-members of the party were included ignoring the sincerer cadres.
Actually, this is what Sushil Koirala likes to say democracy. He claims he is the savior of democracy. He has been asking voters to vote for his party to safeguard the democracy. Naturally, Koirala will make most of his sycophants the ministers and what not if his party were to get majority in the coming elections.
